Key features
The Spectra passively flexes and extends the knee through a controlled range of motion. Kinetec lists a knee range of −10° to 120° and describes the unit as compact enough for hospital or home setup.
- Adjustable knee range of motion from −10° to 120°.
- Hand control keeps start, stop and reverse functions within reach.
- Adjustable speed, pauses and session timing support provider-directed settings.
- Programmable functions help keep repeated sessions consistent when CPM is part of the plan.
- Compact frame and padded side handles make home setup and transport more practical.
How it fits into your recovery
A CPM is an expensive piece of equipment that many people only need for a defined recovery period. Renting gives you a dedicated machine at home for those weeks without buying and storing it long term.
| Post-operative knee recovery | When your surgeon has directed CPM as part of the plan |
|---|---|
| Knee procedures | Where CPM has specifically been recommended |
| Restoring range of motion | Working toward flexion and extension targets |
| Between clinic visits | Home-based rehabilitation alongside physical therapy |
What renting this actually looks like
Five stages, and a person at Caliber involved in four of them. This is the part that separates us from buying a box online.
Request
You pick the equipment and rental period and send a request. Nothing is charged at this point.
Prepare
We check the motor, the controller and every strap, then set the unit to a neutral starting range.
Deliver
Delivered and assembled in the room you will actually use it in, usually beside a bed or sofa.
Use
Use the range, speed and schedule your provider has given you. We leave a quick-start card and the manufacturer instructions with the unit.
Return
When your rental period is complete, Caliber coordinates collection from your location. Need more time? Contact us to discuss an extension.

Before you rent this
CPM is not appropriate for every knee surgery, and it does not make healing faster on its own. Whether CPM suits your recovery, and what range and schedule to use, is a decision for your surgeon or physical therapist. Follow the device labelling and their instructions.
Before it reaches you
We check the motor, the controller and every strap, then set the unit to a neutral starting range. Every unit carries a sticker you can scan to see when it was last cleaned, sanitized and function-tested.
Questions about this rental
-
CPM is normally used on a provider's recommendation, so we ask that you have that direction before renting. If you are unsure, contact us and we will explain what we need.
-
Most CPM rentals run two to six weeks, which is why the three-week rate exists. If you need longer, we handle it as an extension or a custom quote.text goes here
-
Yes. Contact us before your current period ends and we will extend it weekly.
-
Every returned unit is inspected, cleaned and sanitized using the manufacturer's own cleaning instructions, then function-tested before it goes out again. Scan the sticker on your unit to see the date that was last done.
-
Call or text us. We will troubleshoot over the phone and, if the unit needs replacing, arrange a swap. Please do not attempt repairs yourself.
